Germany and France to host joint renewables tender

The German and French energy ministers discussed transnational tenders during a meeting where Germany also named the nuclear power plant it wants to see France close first.

Transnational tenders seem to be underway for two of Europe's biggest markets.

At a bilateral meeting Thursday attended by German energy minister Brigitte Zypries and the French Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, Nicolas Hulot, the ambitions for hosting joint solar and wind power tenders were discussed, states Germany's energy ministry in a statement (German).
