EasyJet wants electric planes in its fleet within 10 years
Within a decade, EasyJet will deploy electric airplanes on certain short-haul services in Europe and the US. The airline has signed a partnership agreement with US startup Wright Electric, which will develop battery-powered planes for services lasting less than two hours, announces EasyJet.
