Make: Offshore momentum offsets onshore uncertainty

"While traditional wind markets are challenged by shifting policies and a saturation of resources, the offshore sector represents an important growth area," predict the consultants.

The ocean is taking over for the land when it comes to hosting new wind turbines, says consultant agency Make, which projects that growth rates for the offshore industry will continue to increase while the situation for onshore wind turbines is more varied.
