Siemens Gamesa lands strong order in Thailand

The wind turbine manufacturer has landed its largest Thai contract to date. The project will boast 260 MW and entail the the installation of the tallest turbines in Asia.

Siemens Gamesa is significantly expanding its presence on the dawning Thai market. The wind turbine manufacturer has won an order to install and deliver 103 wind turbines from the G1226-2.5 MW series for a project boasting 260 MW in the northeastern province Chaiyaphum, announces the firm.
