Vestas wins order for large turbines in the US

In the midst of political turmoil, Vestas seems to have landed a brand new order in the US which is not just an extension of a component order from last year's boom.

It might not seem like a major event in itself, but there is something big about the order landed by Vestas this Tuesday for the US New Frontier project in US state North Dakota. It only boasts 100 MW, but the manufacturer has landed an order for 29 of its large-scale turbines in the V126-3.45 MW series.
