Relief over US tax compromise, though BEAT provision remains

The wind industry welcomes the adopted compromise incorporated into the final version of the comprehensive tax reform currently being negotiated in the US, however the BEAT provision still raises concerns.

A compromise on the US tax reform proposal, announced Friday night, is a welcome relief to the wind and solar industry in the US and looks to be far more generous than the original proposals initially voted through by the House of Representatives and the Senate.
