MHI Vestas appoints new chief execs

The offshore wind turbine manufacturer is hiring a Frenchman and a former Nordex executive from Denmark as its new CEOs, while Anders Runevad will serve as new chairman of the board.

Danish/Japanese MHI Vestas is reshuffling its top posts. On April 1, Jens Tommerup and Tetsushi Mizonu will leave the offshore wind turbine manufacturer, which has instead appointed Areva's former Offshore Wind Director Philippe Kavafyan to be the new chief executive officer and former Nordex chief exec Lars Bondo Krogsgaard as co-CEO, announces MHI Vestas
