Struggling foundation manufacturer to shut down in Scotland and dismiss 260
After a dramatic rescue in the autumn, Scotland's BiFab is now left without work for a majority of its employees and is seeking to close two yards. "The workers there have fought for their future and it is difficult to believe that it can now be snatched away from them," says a spokesperson for the employees' union.
The Scottish supplier to the offshore wind industry, BiFab, is on the verge of factory shutdowns, reveals offshorewind.biz.
