Ørsted hires explosives specialist to look for bombs
The Danish energy company has teamed up with a British company to check selected projects for old undetonated mines and explosives.
It is probably not a good idea to construct an offshore wind farm on top of a mine or another type of undetonated explosive. For this reason, Ørsted has now hired British firm Ordtek to conduct surveys in the US and Taiwan, reports Windpower.
