MHI Vestas turbocharges Taiwan's offshore wind sector
After inking a deal to become preferred supplier for offshore wind projects totaling 1.5 GW in Taiwan, MHI Vestas is now hard at work securing employment for subcontractors.
The 50-50 joint venture owned by Denmark's Vestas and Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, MHI Vestas, has signed memorandums of understanding (MoU) with four Taiwanese firms for the delivery of wind turbine components.
