AEG to heavily invest in service ships for offshore wind turbines
The US offshore market is set for major growth. Not only does Germany's EEW plan to set up foundation production in the country, now a Danish firm will also construct service, installation and cable ships for the offshore wind industry in the US.
US shipyards will be busy in the near future – at least if Aeolus Energy Group (AEG) opts to have its new vessels built locally.
