Offshore wind boom brewing off Poland
The Polish system operator is ready for a massive expansion of the transmission network, which would allow space for 8 GW offshore wind, of which half could potentially be connected by 2027. The door to the onshore wind market has also slightly opened.
After several years of complete standstill on the Polish wind market, things now look set to pick up.
