Bladt Industries fires staff in Denmark

A lack of orders for offshore wind projects along with a lack of new turbine models. These are some of the reasons behind a new staff reduction at Denmark's Bladt Industries.

Weakened activity in offshore wind has now led to Bladt Industries deciding to fire 80 to 85 employees in Denmark, reports Danish media Nordjyske. Most of the layoffs will affect the firm's plant in the Aalborg area, while the division in the city of Odense will also be impacted.
