Vestas: Siemens Gamesa order is no threat
While Siemens Gamesa has won the order for the Wind XI major project, where Vestas has a conditional agreement, the Danish manufacturer expects to remain the major supplier.
Siemens Gamesa's order win Tuesday for the US project Wind XI, says Vestas. In 2016, the Danish manufacturer entered a conditional agreement with developer MidAmerican Energy for the sale of 1, 000 turbines, and thus total capacity for the 2 GW project.
