Vestas: Electrification will push Denmark towards climate neutrality

Denmark is a pioneer in the shift to renewable energy, which has primarily been driven by tenders and the installation of wind turbines in droves – both onshore and offshore.

If Denmark is to maintain its leading role as a green nation, it must increase its ambition level on the demand side. Electrification could pave the way to a climate neutral society, says Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas.
