California top advisor: Consumers will drive shift to renewables

Denmark's achievements in renewable energy are very impressive, not least of all considering how much has been accomplished without comprising economic growth. However, Denmark can sill learn something from California, says the state governor's energy advisor.

Roles reversed when Angelina Geliteva traveled to Copenhagen from California in mid-May share her experiences concerning climate change mitigation and adoption of renewables. Normally, there is a guarantee of less sunlight and lower temperatures when traveling from LA to Northern Europe, but Geliteva happened to travel from an usually overcast California to Denmark during a minor heat wave.
