Danish energy major Ørsted was not taken by surprise when the state of Connecticut opted to move forward with a different offshore wind bid from one of its competitors, says Martin Neubert, head of ocean wind at Ørsted, in a written comment to Ritzau Finans.
The comment comes after the state of Connecticut Wednesday announced that US-based competitor Deepwater Wind will move forward to negotiations for a 200 MW offshore wind development project.
