Ørsted: Connecticut defeat was not a surprise

Ørsted has been present in the US market for offshore wind since 2015, and the company still sees "considerable growth potential" in the market despite the latest defeat.

Danish energy major Ørsted was not taken by surprise when the state of Connecticut opted to move forward with a different offshore wind bid from one of its competitors, says Martin Neubert, head of ocean wind at Ørsted, in a written comment to Ritzau Finans.
