Egypt builds the world's largest solar farm

The Benban solar complex is expected to become operational next year and will contribute to Egypt's renewable energy target.

Egypt is preparing to utilize its abundant sunlight and is in the process of building what will become the world's largest solar farm with a total capacity of 1.8 GW, writes the digital magazine Yale Environment 360.
