Vestas to supply 159 MW for project in Senegal

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer has received an order for 159 MW for a project in Senegal.

Vestas will be supplying up to 46 wind turbines to what will be its first larger project in Senegal. The project will have a total capacity of 159 MW, as sector media renews already reported back in the end of July, and will feature Vestas' model V126 turbine, each with a capacity of 3.45 MW.
