French firm Engie has secured 230 MW via its subsidiaries in the latest French solar tender where 710 MW were up for grabs, announced the utility in a press release.

This was the fourth round of the CRE4 tender where Engie has now won a total 550 MW. In the fourth round, the average price was EUR 52.1 per MWh via subsidiaries Engie Green, LANGA and Compagnie Nationale du Rhône.

Today, Engie already has more than 1,000 MW installed in France, while according to the company the plan is to more than double this to 2.2 GW in 2021.
