A new Danish-Indian center for the development of wind energy will help pave the way for the Danish wind industry in India, which, measured on the country's green ambitions, could become one of the world's largest markets for wind and solar energy.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi has announced that the country must have 227 GW of green energy in 2022. The government is also about to carry out the electrification of India's rural areas, while the country's rising prosperity is expected to increase the demand for energy significantly in the future.
