Siemens Gamesa secures sizeable US order

Southern Power has nominated 48 of Siemens Gamesa's turbines and several classics for a 198.5 MW wind project.

Siemens Gamesa has received a 198.5 MW order for the Reading project in Lyon in the US state of Kansas after Southern Power hired the wind manufacturer to deliver 62 turbines.
