Media: Vestas has found its replacement in Spain

A steel producer is taking over the wind turbine manufacturer's soon-to close nacelle factory in the Spanish town León.

When Vestas closes shop in the Spanish town León in the new year, the factory will be put to new purpose. Spanish steel producer Gonvarri Steel Service has entered a tentative agreement with the Danish company to take over the nacelle factory, which the former will retool for making steel laminate, reports Spanish media El Economista.
