Vestas gets a five-year old order

The wind turbine manufacturer is extending its lead in Italy, where it has secured more than 1 GW capacity in the country's tender system.

Vestas has received an order for ten wind turbines of the type V136-3.6 MW. The customer is project developer Andali Energia and has ordered the units to the wind farm Andali in the southernmost region on the Italian peninsula, Calabria.
