Danish municipality votes in favor of Vattenfall's onshore wind project

Vattenfall's ambitious plans for project Nørrekær Enge in northern Denmark will end up becoming the country's largest onshore wind farm, and these plans took a decisive step forward yesterday evening, coming closer to realization. The last big obstacle must be cleared in two days' time.

It might very well be that onshore wind is is not exactly popular in Danish national parliament, however, the land-based variety of wind energy won an important victory the country's northern municipality of Aalborg yesterday evening.
