Senvion announces substantial drop in sales prices

Fourth quarter growth and increased sales in 2018 are overshadowed by an 11.7 percent price decline per megawatt, relative to the year prior. Although, a closer inspection of the figures does also indicate positive signs.

On paper, Senvion went forward in 2018. The German wind turbine manufacturer booked an order intake of 2,011 MW, up 16 percent from the previous year. This laid the foundation for a surge in onshore wind turbine sales, which reached EUR 1.52 billion.
