Taiwan will issue offshore wind licenses within a few days

Following Tuesday's announcement of raised feed-in-tariff rates, Taiwan authorities say that Ørsted, CIP and other developers will be issued with establishment licenses for their projects by Tuesday at the latest.

The process of granting establishment licenses is underway in Taiwan. Unless something unforeseen legal complication arises, projects under development by parties including Ørsted and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) are expected to be issued on Tuesday, when the Chinese New Year is celebrated, at the latest, informs Taiwanese Minister of Economy Chuan-Neng Lin  Wednesday during a press conference, reports Taiwanese media United News Daily.
