Taiwanese permits issued to two developers

Both Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Northland Power confirm that they have received establishment permits for their projects in Taiwan. Now the focus is on costs, says a partner at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.

Ørsted is not the only party to have received approval from Taiwanese authorities. Establishment permits have also been sent to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' (CIP) projects Chungfang Xidao and Chungnan, which Danish investment fund is developing together with China Steel. Similarly, Northland Power has received permits for its Hai Long 2 project shared with Yushan Energy.
