Lithuania places bid for offshore wind expertise

State-owned Lithuanian utility Lietuvos Energija will buy into an international project in order to bring a partner on board with its own development.

There is strong demand for experienced forces to develop offshore wind in the Baltic Sea. In December, state-owned Polish utility PGE announced that it was hunting for potential partners to develop its offshore wind projects and now Lietuvos Energija is following suit. Almost.
