Hofor licensed for preliminary offshore wind surveys

Denmark's energy regulator has licensed domestic utility Hofor to conduct preliminary surveys for two potential offshore wind farms in the Øresund straight.

Two new wind farms in the straight of Øresund, separating the Danish capital region from Southern Sweden, could be underway. Denmark's energy regulator has given the Copenhagen utility Hofor permission to conduct preliminary site surveys for two potential offshore wind farms, the Danish energy regulator says in a press statement.
