Nordex enters the 5MW class

Much like Vestas and GE, German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex is expanding its 4MW platform to include a turbine with more than 5.5 MW.

While Nordex announced huge declines on the top and bottom line in connection wit hits report, it also presented a new, larger turbine. With a 149 rotor diameter and 5 MW capacity, the company's new N149/5.X turbine will enter serial production in 2021.
