Siemens Gamesa snatches 1000 MW in France from GE

US-based GE Renewable Energy was previously slated for delivering wind turbines to three wind farms in French waters.

Tuesday, Siemens Gamesa announced that it had been chosen as preferred supplier of up to 1000 MW for two out of three offshore wind projects, which Eolien Maritime France (EMF) is working to establish in French waters.
