Macquarie hires Ørsted's former wind chief

Macquarie has hired veteran reinforcement to its investment company Green Investment Group (GIG). The Australian investment bank has hired the former chief executive of Ørsted's wind division, Samuel Leupold, as chair of the company's wind energy division – a newly constituted position meant to support development of GIG's onshore and offshore wind strategy, informs GIG in a statement Thursday.
