Senvion celebrates service extension

The crisis-stricken turbine manufacturer's CEO is delighted by extensions of up to eight years of two service agreements totaling over 100 MW.

Two Italian project owners have extended service contracts with German wind turbine manufacturer Senvion. Developer Libeccio has signed an eight-year contract extension on the full-service agreement for a Sicilian wind farm pertaining seven 3.4 MW wind turbines. ERG Power has signed a five-year extension on a slightly less extensive agreement for two farms consisting of 41 wind turbines totaling 84 MW, writes Senvion in a press release.
