MHI Vestas sends big contract to Fred. Olsen

An offshore service operator based in Denmark is tasked with installing 100 wind turbines at the UK's facility Moray East.

Fred. Olsen Windcarrier will install the hitherto largest offshore wind farm featuring MHI Vestas turbines. The company, based in the western Danish town of Fredericia and a subsidiary of Norwegian shipping group Fred. Olsen, has received an installation contract for the 950 MW offshore wind farm Moray East, says Fred Olsen Windcarrier in a statement.
