India sets a target to quintuple its renewable capacity up to 2030, informs a senior official from the country's renewable energy ministry.

India has set a new target to install 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 as a part of the nation's efforts to mitigate climate change, informs Anand Kumar, a senior official at India's renewable energy ministry, in a statement, according to local news agency Press Information Bureau.
