Swire secures major service agreement with Siemens Gamesa
Offshore wind service operator Swire Blue Ocean has sent one of its large vessels into the North Sea – but not to install new wind turbines.
Mid-May, Swire Blue Ocean's vessel Pacific Orca installed the last Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at UK wind farm Beatrice. However, this by no means concludes the cooperation between the wind turbine manufacturer and the offshore wind service operator. For a time, though, it has taken on different characteristics.
