Prysmian declares Viking Link reveals its undisputed leadership

The Italian cable manufacturer takes almost 90 percent of the total contract for the Viking Link connection between the UK and Denmark.

Stock exchanges in Copenhagen and Milan saw two opposite jumps around noon Tuesday. Transmission system operators (TSOs) Energinet and National Grid's announcement of cable suppliers to the Viking Link connection between Denmark and the UK gave NKT stock a severe blow, while on the other hand, Prysmian equity surged correspondingly.
