Electric cars boost ABB despite lower gear

A slowdown on the internal combustion car market is offset by improvements in electric vehicle infrastructure, which, like the wind industry, contributes to the industrial group delivering a positive surprise.

What is lost in one place is gained in another. This is more or less the case at ABB, which delivers a positive surprise in the second quarter with an operating result of USD 825 million, which, however, is USD 30 million lower than the same period last year.
