Vestas and GE share Turkish order

German utility EnBW and its Turkish partner Borusan develop two wind farms featuring equipment from, among others, Vestas and GE.

Siemens Gamesa is far from the only supplier installing wind turbines on the Turkish market. German-Turkish joint venture Borusan EnBW Enerji has placed orders with GE and Vestas for two projects with a combined capacity of 210 MW, and construction of the two facilities, Saros and Kiyiköy, begins now after the contract signing, informs EnBW, which owns a half stake in Turkish industrial group Borusan.
