"Legal challenge" postpones UK offshore wind CfD auction

UK authorities have extended the application deadline for bids in the ongoing tender for up to 6 GW.

Bids in the third allocation of the UK's Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction were meant to have been filed Thursday at the latest. But the deadline has been extended to Aug. 29 due to a "legal challenge" related to the tender, according to Renews.
