Offshore wind could approach 200 GW in 2030
There could be 193 GW of installed offshore wind capacity in the world in 2030, a new report shows, adding that the figure might grow to 500 GW in 2050.

The US offshore wind industry is still in its earliest phase, but there is much more on the way, according to a new report from the US Department of Energy-funded R&D organization National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
