Deutsche Bahn signs PPA with Innogy and RWE

From 2024, offshore wind farm Nordsee Ost will supply 8 percent of its total output to Germany's state railway through a five-year PPA.

German state railway company Deutsche Bahn has entered a five-year power purchase agreement with domestic utilities Innogy and RWE's Supply & Trading unit to buy electricity from offshore wind farm Nordsee Ost, Deutsche Bahn informs in a statement.
