WindEurope says high uncertainty surrounds European market in coming years

Wind expansion in Europe is closely tied to the clarity and ambition of national energy and climate plans, the European wind energy association warns.

There is great uncertainty surrounding the European wind market for the coming five years. Much will depend on the level of ambition in EU member states' national energy and climate plans (NECPs) and whether the problems currently curbing growth are solved, according to a new report by European wind energy association WindEurope.
