Vattenfall's offshore head sprints over to Rambøll

As of Jan. 1, Vattenfall Head of Offshore Michael Simmelsgaard will move one link further on the value chain of offshore wind. On that date, the former Siemens, Ørsted and, most recently, Vattenfall executive, will take over the post of chief executive of Rambøll's global energy division.Simmelsgaard will preside over 1,800 personnel at the engineering consultancy firm, which works with offshore wind as well as other technologies, Rambøll informs in a statement.
