Ørsted signs framework agreement with Nexans
The Danish utility and its US partner Eversource has signed a framework agreement with French cable company Nexans on future offshore wind projects in the US.
French cable manufacturer Nexans will be the one to handle export cables for Ørsted's US offshore wind farms. The Danish utility and its US partner on numerous projects, Eversource, have signed a framework agreement with the cable company on up to 1,000 kilometers of export cable for "multiple" projects in the US toward 2027, Nexans informs.
