RWE to build wind farms with Vestas turbines
The German utility has purchased 200 Vestas wind turbines for two US projects totaling 420 MW.
Wind OEM Vestas will supply turbines for utility RWE's two Texan projects, Raymond Wind Farm and West Raymond Wind Farm. Or rather, the turbine maker has possibly already begun delivery, as work on the wind farms commenced this December. The 200 turbines, which will have an effect of roughly 420 MW, are slated to enter operation before the end of next year.
