Vestas exec: We must get a bigger bite of China

A few percentages of the tough Chinese market won't satisfy Vestas, the turbine maker's group senior vice president says.

China aims to invest around CNY 2 trillion (EUR 268 billion) in renewable energy and is already well underway, making the People's Republic the largest green investor in the world. Danish companies export, according to domestic business daily Børsen, goods and services worth DKK 3.8 billion (EUR 510 million) per year to China – and Vestas is probably the best example of a Danish company that has major ambitions to realize in China.
