Nordex' Swedish subsidiary sued for bankruptcy – again
Work on one of Europe's largest onshore wind projects was at a halt during most of the fall, after authorities uncovered objectionable environmental conditions. That, however, is far from the only problem.
Last December, Nordex celebrated its largest order ever. Not only had the German wind OEM been chosen to deliver 114 wind turbines to the 475 MW Nysäter project in Sweden, the company was even trusted with the job of main contractor for the turnkey order. A "lighthouse project" on "one of the most challenging markets in Europe", Nordex Chief Sales Officer Patxi Landa said about the assignment.
