Siemens Gamesa secures home market
The OEM's personnel in Spain are now safe, following a year when the company installed most of the 1.6 GW domestic build-out.

Whereas onshore wind markets such as Germany and the UK have stalled, a third major European power has gotten its gears back in motion after several stagnant years. According to Spanish transmission system operator Red Electrica, 1,634 MW of new onshore capacity were installed in 2019 – more than six times as much as the prior six years combined.
